It is an program that is independent of Time 4 Learning, but seems to work very well with it. Any text that can be highlighted, will be converted to speech, and read out loud to the student. Natural Readers is an alternate text-to-speech recognition program.

They sent me a email with a link to download Natural Readers. I contacted Time 4 Learning to see what they had available for students that may have difficulty taking the quizzes on their own. I was curious if there was a way for her to use the program without parental assistance all the time. I have a niece that would enjoy Time 4 Learning, but is a struggling reader. She really likes that she does 15 minutes of lessons and then she gets 15 minutes on the playground to play games. Big Ladybug really likes it!! In fact, she had enjoyed it so much that we have decided to continue with it for now and possibly through the summer. It is nice that it is so interactive, which makes learning fun. Print automated progress reports for record keeping or portfolios.Log in to see how their children are doing in each area they are using.Access lesson plans and a scope and sequence at any time. The curriculum is customized to every child's particular level and need. It is an online Preschool - 8th grade curriculum that can be used as a supplement to your current curriculum or even as your entire curriculum for language arts, math, science and social studies. We were excited to get to try it out again at the second grade level. We had used Time 4 Learning in the past, with Big Ladybug for preschool, and enjoyed it.
#KINGDOM TALES MFW TRIAL#
We recently finished our 30 day trial period of Time 4 Learning.

If you would like to share what you have been doing this week, link up below. A recommended method is to boil the beans for at least ten minutes undercooked beans may be more toxic than raw beans Some kinds of raw beans and especially red and kidney beans, contain a harmful toxin (the lectin Phytohaemagglutinin) that must be destroyed by cooking. The girls love to paint so they really enjoyed using watercolors to make a stained glass Easter cross from Crafty Classroom. She set up these two jars with dried kidney beans with the hope that they germinate and some bean plants grow. She also couldn’t resist making art from them. She soaked them in water so she could look at the insides. The Jews prayed to God to protect them as they rebuilt their city, and He did.īig Ladybug looked at beans and how they are seeds. The Samaritians were not pleased that the Jews were rebuilding so they insulted them and wanted to fight them. Jerusalem and the protective walls around it needed to be rebuilt.

The Jewish people had been in Babylon for 70 years when God let them return to Israel. We chose apricots for our filling.īig Ladybug liked dressing up as her Hello Kitty version of Queen Esther. They have 3 corners like Haman’s hat and have a filling. We celebrated it by dressing as Queen Esther and making hamantaschen (HUM-men-tash-en) cookies.

The Jewish people set aside two days a year to celebrate this law that saved the Jews. We celebrated the Jewish holiday of Purim (POOR-im). The king was happy to grant her wish and ordered the evil Haman to be put to death. She waited for the right time and trusted in God before presenting her request to the king. She was afraid to go to the king to ask that he save the Jews from this horrific event. However, Esther was a Jew and she kept this a secret from the king.Įsther learned that the king's official Haman had a plan to kill all the Jews.

Esther was beautiful and the king chose her. King Xerxes of Persia became angry at his wife, so he kicked her out and searched for a new one. She worked in her Kumon activity books, practicing gluing and cutting :0) Little Ladybug now wants to do her “school work” on a regular basis. Kathi at A Heart Like Water is on spring break this week….YEAH for her!!!! So I am guest hosting My Father’s World Homeschool Highlights this week.
